I’ve been a client of Ms. Combs for over 10 years. Firstly as a Yoga student and more recently as a recipient of energy body work. I had surgery last March under general anesthesia. I had also taken post op medication for pain. I felt weighted down, stiff neck and spinal regions, irritability, and tired easily. With one relaxing session with Kim I felt immediate relief. Kim Combs has been my yoga instructor for many years now and she never fails to deliver the authentic, raw practice that yoga is. Every asana class or philosophy class I take with her, I am inspired to deepen my relationship with yoga in every way. Her ability to teach to a group of practitioners as a whole and to the individual is very much in the essence of Patanjali, the thousand headed serpent, teaching each practitioner in a way only they need. She can read the body and see what's happening and relays that information with grace, compassion and honesty. All while holding space for the class as a whole and offering us insight into the subtle layers of yoga. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, Kim has time on the mat. Her own practice and journey through yoga is what makes her an experienced, trustworthy, graceful, compassionate, and knowledgeable instructor. She walks the walk and it shows in her teachings on and off the mat. I would 100% recommend anyone take any class or workshop Kim offers if you want a real, authentic yogic experience.
